We have all seen the neglected flower garden under the church office windows and thought that something should be done about it. Here is your chance to volunteer to restore and renew this garden. You don’t need to do all the work.
Just help by doing one of the many tasks that need to be done. If you wish you can make it a “family effort”. Let’s get started! Contact Dave Sindrey, 905-689-7081 or email@example.com, or Wendy in the church office, 905-689-6223 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Tasks to be done:
- Prepare/design a plant layout
- Turn over soil
- Purchase/donate plants
- Rake out stones
- Plant flower bed
- Add topsoil
- Add mulch
After 10+ years as coordinator, Wendy is stepping away from this volunteer role. “It is a great
way to get to know people, & doesn’t take a lot of your time.”
Volunteers are also needed for the following opportunities. Can you help once a month or once
every 6-8 weeks with any one of these?
- supply baked items (store bought is fine)
- supply fruit (pre-cut store bought is fine)
- Make coffee/tea before 9am
- run dishwasher after the service @ 10am
- Clean up refreshment table @ 10am
- put away clean dishes
