Migrant Workers’ Dinner at Kilbride United Church

on Saturday Sept. 23rd
Since St. James is not hosting its own dinner for our migrant workers we do have an opportunity to help at Kilbride United Church.

They are asking for donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, women’s jewelry, suitcases and backpacks. These are items the men can take home with them to wear and share with family members.

Donations can be left at St. James and Ruth Nicholson will take them up to Kilbride. If you’d like to participate in this event on either the Friday or Saturday, you are welcome to attend.

We are looking for university students to:

  • Sing with the Senior Choir
  • Occasionally perform solo (voice or instrumental)
  • Perform with the Praise Bank (singing or on your instrument of choice)
  • Further opportunity available to work with the choir as a conducting apprentice or to practice and perform on Casavant organ
