RETURN TO TWO WORSHIP SERVICES SEPTEMBER 9TH
9:30am Café Style Service in the Hall upstairs.Children’s & Youth classes begin. ECE supervised nursery care for infants and toddlers.
10:45am Traditional Style Service in the Sanctuary. ECE supervised nursery care for infants, toddlers and young children.Older children are welcome to stay in the service with their families.
Annual Congregation Meeting February 17th
There will be a single, joint service at 9:30 am in the Hall upstairs on February 17th, followed by the Annual Meeting. Refreshments will be provided throughout.
Children & youth programs will run their usual time from 9:30-10:30am. Childcare will then be provided for the duration of the meeting by Freida Hone downstairs in the Nursery/Sunday School rooms.
Waterdown Service of Prayer for Christian Unity
We will be joining together with the other churches in the Waterdown Church Network to celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with a service on Sat Feb 2 at 7:00 pm at Grace Anglican Church, 157 Mill St N.
Please join us for this time of unity.

Bible Study Video Series
We will be joining with the congregations of Millgrove, Strabane, and Carlisle United Churches for a video bible study series from Feb 20 to Apr 10 on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00-4:30pm.
We’ll be following the United Church’s Storyfest study series. Please join us for a time of fellowship and education.

People are needed to prepare &/or clean up coffee/tea for the Traditional Service on a rotating basis (once a month?) now that John & Ruth Harper will no longer be doing this.

UPDATE – Land Repurpose Committee
Since our last Congregational meeting on April 7th we have met with 3 interested developers and one community partner. We’ve also had discussions with another developer who was not interested. We’ve met again with Edge and continue to explore that relationship. Over the summer we will be spending time contemplating our space and resource needs post repurposing and will be making a decision regarding Edge. We have not spent any money or made any financial commitments to date. Stay tuned!

CHORAL SCHOLARS WANTED!
We are looking for university students to:
- Sing with the Senior Choir
- Occasionally perform solo (voice or instrumental)
- Perform with the Praise Band (singing or on your instrument of choice)
- Further opportunity available to work with the choir as a conducting apprentice or to practice and perform on Casavant organ
- Honorarium available

Our new church Library is open in the Narthex, with our new Library Team of Joan Forsyth, Monica Small & Ann Robbins. You are welcome to browse; if you find a book to take out, sign the card in the book pocket and leave the card in the card box on the library shelf next to the coat closet. Please return the book within 3 weeks and place it in the book return box. It will be re-shelved by our Library Team.
No books are currently being accepted as donations to the Library. Thank you.

Ever wonder how the church looks so good? Who shovels the snow in the winter and maintains the gardens in the summer? If you are interested in helping to create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere from a building and grounds perspective, the Property & Grounds Committee is looking for new members. This Group of committed individuals meets Thursday mornings from 9am to noon to work on various repairs and maintenance projects, and includes a coffee and fellowship time.
