YOUR TWO WORSHIP TEAMS:

The Traditional Service Worship Team meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm and dedicates most of its time to brainstorming ways to enhance major services, such as Thankgsgiving. We are sharing responsibilities of facilitating monthly meetings and we are opening up each meeting to whoever would want to participate. No commitment is necessary. Just show up when you can. The Contemporary Service Worship Team meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. We are a brand new team and we welcome your ideas for enhancing our contemporary worship experience. Contact: Jordan Gladstone, Lillian Young, Bob Gardner.

The Christian Development Team is looking for people with a passion to promote and encourage our existing programs, as well as to brainstorm new ways of getting others excited about our faith. HOSPITALITY - has a focus on increasing opportunities for fellowship amoung the entire congregation. COMMUNICATIONS - Do you believe strongly that St. James needs to promote itself to the community and to communicate the exciting things that are happening? The Communications Committee is looking for someone to handle the advertising to the Waterdown Community (i.e. notices to community newspapers, local cable channel for special events, etc.). PROPERTY & GROUNDS - Ever wonder how the church looks so good? Who shovels the snow in the winter and main-tains the gardens in the summer? If you are interested in helping to create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere from a building and grounds perspective, the Property & Grounds Committee is looking for new members. This Group of committed individuals meets Thursday mornings to work on various repairs and maintenance projects, and includes a coffee and fellowship time. THE MINISTRY OF PASTORAL CARE - Do you have a heart for people and a passion to be a part of caring community in action?
